GORTHFASKOR – An Anti-fascist Celebration
Free tickets: Gorthfaskor: Anti-fascist celebration – 90 years of Cable Street – Open Collective
On 4th October 1936, thousands of ordinary people stopped the British Union of Fascists from marching in the East End of London. In 2026, we are still seeing these threats on our streets, in our communities, and in Government.
Let’s come together to learn from past resistance, and celebrate anti-fascism today!

5:30pm- Film begins: From Cable Street to Brick Lane (74 mins)
7pm – Music begins! From Commoner
There will also be stalls where you can buy badges, t-shirts etc., with the opportunity to donate to a local anti-fascist fundraiser
